USC's Adams selected

University of South Carolina forward Demetress Adams was selected second-team all-Southeastern Conference and also named to the all-defensive team in voting by league women's basketball coaches. The junior is fourth in the league in rebounding (9.0) and is averaging 10.9 points per game for USC (15-14). The Gamecocks play Florida Thursday in the first round of the SEC tournament in Nashville, Tenn.
