PRYOR: "I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN MAKE OREGON"
As the recruiting saga of high school quarterback Terrelle Pryor continues, there's a sense that the longer Pryor delays his decision, the better chance Oregon has of getting him to visit its campus.
And Oregon's sparkling facilities are so impressive that if Pryor does visit Oregon, many observers are convinced that he'll sign on the spot.
But as Pryor continues to lead Jeannette High School's basketball team through the Pennsylvania state playoffs, a visit to Oregon is getting increasingly less likely.
"I don't have much time left, so I have to figure out a date for those visits," Pryor said, per Mike Farrell of Rivals.com. "I don't know if I can make Oregon; that one is obviously a lot tougher to make than Penn State. But Penn State I can do. I just want to make it a real official visit and be able to spend the full two days there."
Pryor's family apparently wants him to stay relatively close to home, which is another strike against Oregon. He sounds as though Ohio State and Michigan are tops in his mind, at least right now.
"I'd like my mom to see both places and Penn State," Pryor said. "So we're talking about a day trip to both Ohio State and Michigan, and she'd come along with me on my Penn State trip."
Pryor says he'll sign by April 1.
