Though I dont think we have the best caliber of pitchers and this will really show come tourny times. We really need to get our runs when we can and stop leaving runs on base. This will be our best pitching staff if we can just score runs.

I hope we make it to Omaha, but I think that it will be a challenge with our pitching staff.

I think that this is good for us to get these type of games, like tonight, after a 3 game series. This will get us use to playing like if we were in regionals, supers, or Omaha. The competetion will be much tougher, but hopefully this early practice will help us down the road.

i think he was mainly talking about pitchers, not position players. position players can play 4-5 games a week and not be as worn out as pitchers, because the pitchers have to throw the ball every time, whether it's a ball/strike/home run/or pick-off attempt or a hit to any position. the position players only have to throw the ball when it's hit to them (not counting double plays, etc.)
