The Womens Basketball team came out with a vengence and beat North Carolina A&T with no mercy tonight. N.C. Aggies were the MEAC conference winners this year.
National Record Broken -Jordan Jones nailed 9( 9 OF 17 58%) three pointers most from NBA range and another 5-6 feet to that. Those 9 three ponters was a record for most three pointers made ever in the WNIT.
South Carolina Record Broken- Most threes ever at the Colonial Center
South Carolina Record - Tied with a 1995 record of 9 three pointers in a game
South Carolina Record - Moved to second in the history of South Carolina womens basketball with 90 three pointers in a season(and still counting)
South Carolina Record - 2nd freshman in the history of South Carolina to score over 30 points(Jones had 31) the record is 37 points TWENTY-One years AGO!!!!
