It is not an april fools joke, i thought it was today when I saw our school newspaper. It was accidentally leaked a week early so someone is going to be in deep stuff. Land has been cleared for where the stadium is being built. The first year the team will play at Broome High School in 2009 I believe. By 2010 the stadium will be opened.

Hmm. I don't see how that is possible at all. It is an April Fools joke on you as well then. First off, they had to add a few sports once they entered Division 1 to meet Title 9. Football was nowhere in the plans. If they add football, they are going to have to add another sport.

Aside from that, I don't believe they have the financial support to start a program...certainly not in Division 1. Maybe they could start a Div III program but I still think that wouldn't be financially feasible.

I'd be willing to bet this is a joke.
