Carolina lineman to coach Chiefs’ 'O’

Former Hilton Head offensive coordinator C.J. Frye was hired Wednesday to fill the same position at McCormick, where he’ll also teach business education.


“It was outstanding (working with Holtz and Spurrier),” Frye said. “I really enjoyed every minute of it, and then just being around my dad, he’s a great motivator. Those three are not only some really great people, but great coaches.

That's an excellent question! Maybe it has to do with all the no-see-ums in the Hilton Head area.

I could put up with the bugs more than I could put up with living in the middle of boon docks!

I wish him well but McCormick is not known for being a football power, more of a basketball town.:confused:

Yep, Coach Frye is our new offensive coordinator. I play football for McCormick High (OL/DL), and I'm telling you, we're looking pretty good thus far. We're going to surprise a lot of people.
