Just took a job on short notice in Chucktown. I do not know many people down there as all my friends have graduated in the past few years. Let me know if you are down there and you want to meet up and have a beer or six or do some fishing.
No fat chicks please.
Sorry I figured this was best fit in the Cocky get togethers.

Welcome to the lowcountry. If you ever need a place to watch road games with some good Gamecocks and some beverages, let me know. Every road game means party at my place!

Well I am taking a beating on this one so I will say sorry to anyone I offended. I forget Kirstie Alley needs fans too.
P.S. Just saw The Dark Knight. Badass.

Welcome to Charleston. I moved here with my wife and 3 year old daughter in 1994. We had another daughter in 1995. We will never leave this town. The salt water gets in your blood.
Btw, I'm fishing on the Wando every weekend.

We're going fishing a couple of days with our buddy that lives on the Wando that I told you about.

The best city in the Southland! Plenty to do, plenty to see, and how about all the history, if you're into history!
Beautiful ladies, great food, and friendly folks!
I LOVE CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA!

I moved to chucktown in '03. LOVE IT! Love the beach, Love the food, Love the life!
And it's only about a two hour drive to williams brice!
PS. When I can't make it to away games...I head to Manny's in West Ashley. Pretty good food and reasonable prices...AND, I'm pretty sure the owner is a Carolina fan because they ALWAY have a carolina game on!

I've lived around Charleston for 16 out of my 22 years on this earth and I have to say that it is one great place. You are always near a beach, plenty of places to get your fish on, like someone else stated the girls are FINE and of course the golf courses are just as plentiful as the beaches. I just have to ask, everyone in (no matter where) the Tri-county area claim they are from Charleston (which is accurate since all three counties are in the Charleston Metropolitan Statistical Area), are you actually moving to Charleston or one of the many surrounding cities/towns?

I lived in Summerville for 9 months...loved it there. Charleston is one of the best cities I have ever visited. I moved back to Columbia to be closer to family and my new nephew(not to mention a 20% raise). I still visit charleston often, go to edisto beach atleast once a month. I would like to live in charleston again sometime in my life.

Well it is going awesome. I love it here. My roommate is in a bluegrass band and I just got back from the long happy hour at Pour House in James Island. It is just a great area with so much to do. I will be doing a good deal of fishing next week so I am excited about that.
To the person who mention Bobby H.'s, is that off Sam Rittenburg? I work off 61 and go past Rittenburg every day. Look forward to having a few drinks with the Charleston cockytalk group soon.
Oh, about the no fat chicks thing, I was insensitive about the matter. But still, no fat chicks...
Wow I am such an ass, I am never gonna get to meet the infamous GotSpurrier now.

Yea it is off Sam R or Cosgrove however you want to look at it. It is at the corner of Orange Grove. If you take the Cosgrove exit off 26 and head towards W. Ashley it will be your second light. Coming from the Citadel Mall, it will be on your left just as you go around the bend heading for the Cosgrove Bridge. Mickey D's is on the other side.
Bobby is a great guy and runs a very Gamecock Freindly place.

Well it seems the no fat chicks comment has come back and bitten me. I have managed to be involved in two wrecks in the past two weeks. Today a Pepsi truck decided to come into my lane and play bumper cars. I just got my new car like 4 days ago too.......
I am not sure I can handle us winning by anything fewer then 21 now.
