Any of y'all are more than welcome to stop by our spot. We're across the tracks in the Andrews Road Lot (by the RVs). Usually have a Gadsden and USMC flag flying, so we're easy to find. Hope some of you can drop by for a cool one.

I'm off that Thursday and Friday so I'll be out at Seawell's all-day Thursday and depending on how much we drink I may be there Friday as well. :rotfl: You guys should stop by we have three spots side by side right beside where the student gamecock club sets up and serves dinner. There'll be a white grand cherokee, a silver tahoe and black envoy xl. I CANT WAIT!!!!!

im taking off work thursday and friday, so ill be making the trip from ATL wednesday night. Man i cant wait!!

Hey when does the fairgrounds open you think? this will be my first year parking in there. The place i used to park in is being made into permant spots and i didnt have an extra 25grand laying around for it.

Don't quote me on this but I would expect 2 or 2:30 for the Fairgrounds. You can get there early and wait in line on Rosewood for the first come first serve parking and it's usually pretty good.

Last year for the KY game I got down to the stadium around 11 am. I got hammered! So, needless to say, I will probably not get there so early this time!
Probably around 2 or so. Not sure where we're tailgating this year. The guy at the BP station increased his price on the spots there, so I'm probably going to be looking for someone selling one.
Can't wait!

hey sneez i just did the same... i had a six game pack with no georgia...so i went on and got 2 georgia and got 2 more for the wofford game so we can take the kids....i got the email the other day but thought it was for just the mini packs they had for sale.... so now i got a full season package!!!!!! thanks for the tidbit man.....

yeah, this kind of gets on my nerves. i didn't even get a chance to grab the 6-game package...only the 5-game because they were supposedly sold out on the Tennessee and UGA tickets. now they decide to sell them after I already placed my order and am waiting on tickets...WTF! this angers me. I'd much rather have tickets to UGA and Tennessee instead of UAB and Wofford.

I expect the fairgrounds to open the gates at 2, so Ill probably get there around 1 if I got someone to go with me. I dont park in the fairgrounds but in the lot off Andrews road which is owned by the fairgrounds. Im off thursday and Friday too.

The fairgrounds will open five hours prior to game time for every game except any games at noon or 12:30. It then opens at 8am.

If any one is looking for reasonable parking let me know. I park at Seawells in the grass lot beside the building and it is only $175 a year for a reserved spot. PM me if you need contact info.

How do you buy a spot for the year in that Seawell's lot?

Last season I tailgated there a couple of games and all you have to do is ask one of the attendents about it. They actually came up to me and asked me but i am sure if you ask them they would have no problem. Get there early though because that lot fills up fast because it opens well before the fargrounds.

i will probably drop by again this year with my backpack (portable cooler) and Jager bombs again. This time I actually plan on staying sober enough to make it into the game. Last year ended in a ride to Richland County for arguing with a ticket taker for not letting me leave and re-enter after drinking for 10 hours straight. I had to wait until SC state to see a home game. Lesson learned.

Im gonna be there, im taking my dad a good friend of his and my brother along with me. Im gonna try to set up in the fairgrounds, it will be the public parking area as i dont have a pass. anyway anybody is welcome to come by and have a beer, but im not gonna be walking around looking for people, its my dad and brothers first game so im gonna sit around and hang out with them and get wild..:woo:

I can not believe I came to this thread and there was not a selected meeting spot for a tailgate. Whats up with that??? If anyone wants to PM me their numbers I will send out a call to you guys on Thursday. Don't forget to let me know who I am asking for. I am not bringing an elaborate set-up but will definitely be getting my tailgate on before the game. We plan on being in line for them to open the gates up for general admission parking in the Fairgrounds. Anyone is welcome including State fans as I will be bringing 2 of them to Columbia with me and I even still have my Tater girlfriend who you guys have not helped me convert yet.
