the greer football team has been placed on probation for breaking high school league rules and having player on player contact in the restricted period of the first three days of practice. They were only allowed to used dummies but were hitting each other. hahahahahaha

Petty or not, rules are rules, and the coach should be smart enough to know better.

So basically they told all of the coaches at the rules meeting a week or so ago that there is to be NO PLAYER TO PLAYER CONTACT, for the first three days of practice. They were allowed to use tackling dummies but the players could not have physical contact with each other and it was stressed, The dip s*** broke the rules now they are being punished.

Ur right, and we are all pretty sure up here that they will have a new head coach before the season begins as well.

I'd bet the farm on it....
I've been looking for it since I first heard Perry was coming back....now this gives them a perfect opportunity to make the change....but then, Young has nobody to blame but himself.
I do feel confident the players will be reinstated...I mean, it's only right.
They are just doing what they are told to do. How many 15 year old kids are going to say, "Coach, we can't do that. It's against the rules."

i truly cant believe how hs sports have changed. in my opinion, for the worse. now you have high school teams with booster clubs that donate thousands to build better facilities in order to get an edge. at the hs level it should not be allowed to take booster money and build a state of the art workout room or training center..public schools are public schools.

Being a Chapman grad I have no sympathy for Greer.
