Back at defensive tackle, the former Cheraw star is showing the benefits of his nonstop motor.

Everybody has a friend who is not shy about throwing his arm around your shoulder and squeezing his way into a picture.

Cliff Matthews is that guy on South Carolina’s defense. When Gamecock coaches review practice tapes, they invariably find Matthews sprinting into the frame — regardless of whether the play was run toward the sophomore defensive end or to the other side of the field.

I don't need to read that article any further, because that sports department doesn't know the difference between a DT and a DE. I don't think we have a DT by the name of Cliff Matthews.

If every person would play like him, we would have ended the season #6 or higher... And if every person on the team COMMITS to play like that this year, we will be UNSTOPPABLE... we have the talent... if every player is giving their all physically, i can bet they are giving their all mentally, too, and we wont have to worry about bonehead plays and shooting ourselves in the foot...
