Not this year, but I will be back up there working at NASA Langley next year. I'd love to find a group of Gamecocks to watch games with.
I'm in Atlanta now which is easy to get to games, but 7 hours from Hampton is just too long to make it to many games.
I'm pretty sure there is a Gamecock Club chapter up there. You should probably check that out.

I've lived in the Norfolk area on and off over my husband's Naval Career. We are back in SC for now but he will probably be back there in a year in a half. I'll probably stay b/c he'll only have 2 yrs left at that point and I can't bare leaving my wonderful state again. The last time we lived there I bought mini season tickets to UVA just to go to the one Gamecock/UVA game and Clemson. Of course, I decked out in UVA apparel for the Clemson game. It was nice to see Clemson lose, especially since I invited my brother-in-law(a clemson grad) up for that one. Not so much when Carolina lost that same year.

Be sure and fly your gamecock flags. I lived in Great Bridge(chesapeake) and passed many cars with gamecock stickers, etc on the 45 min commute to downtown Norfolk everyday for work. I would fly my gamecock flags before every game. With all the transplants there from the military you'll see flags flying from practically every state.

Hey there Nuke, I live in Great Bridge too, so my flags were probably some of the ones you saw, along with my pro carolina license plates. We wave the flag every chance we get.
