Mildly optimistic comments by coach. I like it.

I like to hear it. Lets get these guys healthy...couple guys with small injuries, Stewart, Kind, Brinkley.

Stewart's injury may take more than a few days to heal. I've had this type injury and it takes a couple of weeks sometimes to get rid of the pain. Hope he's ready for the first game. I'm more concerned about Jasper!

I have a feeling it is Jasper pushing the coaches to let him loose more so than it is the coaches encouraging him to come back before he is ready... But yes I agree- we need him HEALTHY... the kid knows how to hit people, he is already our best D player, a little more practice will do much less to improve his performance than a nagging injury that does not heal right could to harm his performance... i wouldnt mind blowing up a big early lead against NCST and letting some of our starters limit their field time. Same with vandy..i know some people would be biting their nails waiting for them to comeback but just an optimistic hope from a guy who unhealthy obsession with college football. would love for UGA to stroll into willy B with our D at full strength and beecher with 2 games in him.

you do know we lost to vandy last year and havent as yet proven we can do anything better, right? dont get caught up in the hype..we need to be full strength against all sec opponents. i do not want to lose two straight games to a team that does not even have an athletic department.
