Not exactly sure of the spelling, but try merck. It's not that friendly to those that aren't computer savvy, but not impossible. I think my friend got one there before, that's where I got mine from (he gave it to me).

p.s. no offense ultimate but what's the point of posting in the thread ... you've done nothing product in here but basically try to show other posters (part of which would include me) ... if you're so ruley of all things internet related ... then shouldn't you be on an "i'm am the master god of the internet" webs site??

It's just an insiders I.T. thing which I knew some of the other more tech savy posters list spur48 would pick up on. If it bothers you that much I was just trying to say that no one "in the know" about this kind of thing would ever use frostwire to get software. It's far more risky than a private newsgroup.

well obviously i wasn't "in the know" so since i was asking to begin with ... this type of information would have been wonderful to know before ... instead of portraying that you're superior to everyone else ... i was asking for my fiancee because she had school work that had to be done last night ... but side comments completely killed our chance or getting this quickly

how soon do you need it cack? i got a CD copy I can send you that will work fine, Office XP. or you could just find a torrent and download it. i wouldn't download any software from any p2p client like Frostwire or Limewire...leave the music to that if you must.
if you don't have a torrent client, download one of those- then go to a torrent tracker (my fav is demonoid, but it requires membership- which is free but selective) and find what you are looking for then download it. you won't get junk or viruses because usually people confirm what you are downloading by comments. using p2p, you have nothing to base your download off of except what you see.

also, have you thought about using OpenOffice? it is just as good as Microsoft Office, has the same exact features and programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc) and it is compatible with MS Office in case you wanted to open it back and forth. it is totally free because it is open source.

I have never encountered a problem with downloading things from frostwire you just have to be sure you run virus checks. Its not like it's rocket sience or anything. I dont consider myself "in the know" but I got PS and Winrecorder off of it. Computer is virus free and runs perfect.
