As you can see, it's mostly older stuff, but I'm not opposed to putting newer songs on my list. It's just that I don't listen to the radio much any more, and don't really have a feel for the newer songs. Please no rap or country. Only a week left!

Ah, Red Chili Peppers! Forgot about them. I'll have to get me some Hootie too. My dad's a huge fan of Tokyo Joe, I'll have to ask him which of the songs are pretty good.

I liked most of their songs. Will have to perhaps add a couple more. I think I've got Cold already. Perhaps some "Colors" could be a good addition.

Spur48,

As an avid music-lover, I agree with every one of your selections. HOWEVER, I'm not sure if you're aware, but you have to play certain songs while tailgating in the south:

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Freebird
Johnny Cash - Folsom Prison Blues
Hank Williams Jr - A Country Boy Can Survive
Hank Williams Jr - Family Tradition
Alabama - Dixieland Delight

Also, one's not necessarily needed in the south, but good to have are as follows:

The Who - Baba O'Riley
Rolling Stones - You Can't Always Get What You Want (a 'true gamecock' song)
Allman Brothers - Jessica

And, finally, anything by Hootie and the Blowfish. Hope your list comes together for a strong pregame...as long as you don't play 'Man, I feel like a woman' by Shania Twain, which I seriously heard played by Clemson guys at a tailgating party a few years ago when they played Maryland, haha.

Well, this is my playlist, I've omitted any repeats from previous posts because, well...let's face it, if AC/DC, and Metallica aren't on there...it isn't worth having!

Europe - Final Countdown [played just before you leaving the tailgating spot to enter the stadium]

George Thorogood - Bad to the Bone

Coheed & Cambria - Welcome Home

Drowning Pool - Let the Bodies Hit the Floor

Earth Wind & Fire - In The Stone [more for the party than getting pumped]

I know you said no rap...but
Fort Minor - Remember the Name

Golden Earring - Radar Love

John Williams - Theme from Robin Hood Prince of Thieves

Motorhead - Ace of Spades, King of Kings, or Dogs of War [my personal favorites]

Hans Zimmer - Battle (from Gladiator)

Mudvayne - Dig [only if you want to feel like hitting something/body]

Nonpoint - In the Air Tonight [good Phil Collins cover, made for a good video]

[let's go ahead and say any song that's been in a Levi Boudreau or CADD video.]

Quiet Riot - Bang Your Head

Scorpions - Rock You Like a Hurricane (against LSU or Florida)

you also said no country but...
Shooter Jennings - Gone to Carolina

That's just a smattering of my playlist, some to chill, some to get pumped

You need come country on there... Other than that it is a pretty nice group of songs. You might also want to put those Jay-Z/Linkin Park mixes on there. All of those songs are sweet.
