Well I did like Mario Kart on the super nintendo but I didn't really like it on the gamecube. I have Wii sports and I love it...I really like the tennis.

Anybody know if Topspin for the wii is any good? Wiisports tennis is fun I was thinking it might be even better.

Mario is pretty good if you're into that kind of thing. I think most people consider it to be the best wii game. Smash bros was a little disappointing for me but a lot of people love it.

prob better than this would be to get like an APS style battery backup, or if you cant afford one right now, do like we do and only leave it plugged in when you are playing it :thumbsup:

I need to do something..Right now we have it plugged straight into the wall. My husband lost his Xbox during a storm because we didn't have it on a surge protector.

just bought a wii this morning....the wife and i are giving it to each other as our big christmas present this year. gonna put it in the play room for family night entertainment/etc.

won't be opening it until christmas morning though.

My mother in law got ours as a Christmas gift. She said she couldn't wait till Christmas to give it to us. I just got done trying The Simpson's Game..I didn't like it.

I'd recommend most of the ones mentioned like Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, and others. On top of those I would recommend Wii Play, Wario Ware Smooth Moves, Mario and Sonic At the Olympics, and either Trauma Center game.

Wii Play gives you another Wiimote and has some minigames that are fun. Wario Ware is a mini game oriented game that is great for playing with friends and even by yourself. Mario and Sonic at the Olympics is pretty much a more vast Wii Sports which can be very fun. The Trauma Center games are fun as a different kind of game. They have some fantasy type stuff involved with viruses, but extremely fun games to play. Another thing I'd recommend is Wii Fit. It's a fun way to keep up with exercise and has fun games involved with it.

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Good game so far. I haven't gotten very far, but what I've played is good. Also, it opens up so many more possibilities other than playing just Wii games. 8-)

The rest of my library includes: Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Madden 07, Mario Kart, Zack & Wiki....and I think that's it.....and Wii Sports. I had Wii Play, but thought it stunk.

Wii Play is best with multiple players so you can play against family members and friends. There are games like finding a set of twins or triplets in a crowd. There are a lot of memory and concentartion games as well as other thing like that. It's just like Wii Sports in the fact that is uses you Mii characters that you create as the characters in the game. Try it to see if you'd like it. I liked parts of the game but not all of it. Again, it's a bunch on mini-games on a single disc.
