Star Wars: Force Unleashed Review

Okay...so i bought the game today at noon.

began playing at about 4 and I beat it.

woopeedoo

didn't live up to the hype...at all

it was fun and a free environment gets old quickly.
The story line is clear:

you play the first level as Darth Vader on Kashyyk and kill a jedi master...the son however, is spared and becomes Vader's apprentice

suprisingly enough the story has an angsty teenage love story mized in with sith vs jedi tendencies...

it began to look promising...

however...

the characters are predicatable, the "finishing moves" are automated...lame...and the game was very, very short, IMHO

Technical:

There are a few buggy areas and they could have used another month or so of fixing a few things.

I WOULD have given it a B+

do to the excessive hype...

great story, really fits the plot of the movies but should have been longer with a deeper story to EVEN BE MENTIONED in the same sentence as KOTOR or KOTOR II

Yeah. I played the demo. The whole throwing stuff around got old quickly. It was just wave after wave of enemies. I got bored quickly.

plus rancors, a few jedi, planetary natives, tie fighters

yuo do get to pull down a star destroyer, which was neat

i was/am disappointed



fighing Vader then Emporer with a VERY anti-climatic ending...has a VERY KOTOR II ending type feel with KOTOR I story...Jedi son becomes sith, becomes Jedi, destroyed by sith...woopeedoo game is too short to max out all abilities, adn no free worl roaming really limits the game...

VERY promising thought...but once again...crapola in the final product

yeha, I was bored and didn't have anything to do so instead of COD 4 i decided to see whats up.

a fun game you should look at, if you have a Wii that is, is Mario Super Sluggers. the story mode deal i beat in about a day an a half, but very interesting and fun, and funny. you beat that quick and earn all the characters, parks, items and all. the great part is the gameplay itself. my friend and i played today and have a great time. it's a very fun game to play with your friends. a lot like Wii Baseball, only more detailed. great game. check it out. i love it.

I'm going to roll it over into something else. Sneez has basically confirmed what I felt since playing the demo. There are some better things comming out in a few months, and SWFUL will still be around.
