Hey, I need help with NCAA 09 for PS2

My PS2's back from repair tomorrow and I bought NCAA 09, what should I do first, as regards dificulty and settings, I'm a Madden (NCAA mod on PC) veteran, but I dunno if I can adapt to NCAA gameplay
