Not sure if you're aware but you can buy 1/2 price (or better) gift certificates at www.restaurant.com (http://www.restaurant.com). They've got a bunch of restaurants on there in the Cola area....for example, me and my fiancee go eat at Solstice way more often then we probably should since we save some dough. Other places on there are Mr. Friendlys, Villiage Bistro, etc. Just one thing to look out for...there's a minimum to spend (ex if you get a $50 certificate you usually have to spend $100) and also alcohol isn't included in that total, so you can't just buy a $50 bottle of wine to make up the difference.
Also, just a heads up, another thing I do is register my credit cards through my frequent flyer program at US Air so I earn miles when I use it at different places that are part of the program. Solstice, Mr. Friendly's, Bey's in 5 points and Sonic are on the list.
