USC basketball coach Darrin Horn is interested in 6-6 SF Will Yeguete of France who attends Florida Air Academy in Melbourne, FL. Horn got a look at Yeguete while recruiting Ty Armstrong who signed with Auburn. FAI coach Aubin Goporo said Horn plans to recruit Yeguete who averaged 14 points and 10 rebounds per game last season. Yeguete has been offered by Auburn and Virginia Tech. He's also drawing interset from Alabama. "He does a lot of different things," Goporo said. "He's very skilled, he passes the ball well, and he's always around the basket. He can guard all five spots. He needs to put weight on." Goporo said if Yeguete stays in America this summer and is seen by recruiters, the interest in him should continue to grow.

USC remains very interested in 6-7 Will Yeguete of Florida Air Academy in Melbourne, though the Gamecocks have not offered at this point. "They are recruiting him heavily to be quite honest," said FAA coach Aubin Goporo. "As soon as he started AAU his recruiting blew up. South Carolina writes him every day and they call him. Florida wants him to come in for an unofficial visit. He's supposed to go to South Carolina's Elite Camp but he has an AAU tournament so he probably won't make it. But they are expressing strong interest." Yeguete, who averaged 14 points and 10 rebounds per game last season, has offers from Virginia Tech and Auburn. Alabama also is showing serious interest

6-7 SF Will Yeguete of France and Melbourne, FL remains a USC target and plans to visit when he returns from a trip home to France the end of July. "They want him to come in for a visit," said Yeguete's coach Aubin Goporo who said he talked earlier this week with Gamecock assistant coach Neil Berry. "They wanted him to come in August 3rd for a camp but he's going home. He'll visit in the fall." Yeguete will visit Florida before going home. Yeguete has offers from Virginia Tech and Auburn while USC, Florida and Alabama have been showing interest.
