:football: Great job on the list!WR Eddie Miller's name jumps out at me. I really thought he was gonna make some noise in the NFL. He got better every year at Carolina...such speed. When I first saw Troy W. play I told a friend he reminded me of Miller. Anouther guy who could have played(and played well) in the NFL was Ryan Bathae. Too bad we'll never know. Thanks again for the list.

I agree morgan. You might want to vote in this open poll about the best players not to go pro:

Pat sold the deli a few years back and became a "GENTLEMAN FARMER" somewhere around Eastover. Last I heard he was doing very well.
I don't think that he was ever drafted.

And Rice will certainly add another on there in 2 YEARS

That's true, but just think... had Ko stayed another year, he might have been in the first round next year... then Rice the next year...

but noooooooooooo.

sucks the way it played out, imo... but I hope he tears it up in Buffallo. WE all know he's better than JJ, and that makes him a steal at this point in the draft.

Of all those guys, I would say there have only been two true stars of the game and those were Geo. Rogers and Sterling Sharpe. Abraham and Robinson could be stars and still may, but Rogers and Sharpe are the only two I think have been stars. Several of the others guys have had solid seasons. I would like to see more Gamecocks in the NFL.

Abraham is a pro-bowler and plays at pro-bowl level, You could argue that Brown and Robinson are almost at that level.....

cockyhoskins
05-01-2006, 12:31 PM
I would include Abraham as a star. He is a "franchise player" as that designation is used in today's NFL.

Will we add Rice to this list??? Make it four consecutive years with a first rounder.

Could be a late first rounder if there is a good team that needs a steady reciever. He will not be a game breaker at the next level. He does not have the speed. He will be a guy that catches a lot of 10-15yrd passes. I hope a good team picks him so he will have a chance to show his talent.
