Hello! Jack is doing fine, but there is a problem with him that they're trying to diagnose. He was spitting up too much and the docs think it is reflux so they put him on some type of antacid. It's too early to tell if that's the problem or not. He hasn't gained the weight he should be gaining by now. Hopefully the meds will help. Our babies do grow up quickly. It feels like just yesterday he was born. They moved to Texas and it took them 3 days to get there (from Fort Benning to Fort Hood). I hate that because now I'll have to take a plane to visit her instead of being able to drive. Yes - I love the 4-in-a-row Tater whipping. I think we'll make it 5 next year!! LaLa how's Jack doing. He'll be 3 months in a couple of weeks. Time sure does pass quickly especially when you see the grandkids grow up soon. It seems just like yesterday when they were crawling around, now they are teenagers. Where did those years go. How about our Gamecocks, 10-2 with another tater whipping. Glad you got to see him so soon and that everyone is doing fine now. Maybe Jack will be a good luck charm for the Gamecocks this fall. He was born Friday and you saw what happened Saturday. You never know.

Hey and thank you! Jack was born at 11:25pm Friday night and I was able to see him 2 hours later. He had some breathing problems at first and needed to be monitored. He's doing great now.

Yeah, I guess I will be LaLa from here on out. My daughter that's been in labor went for a walk last night and it slowed things down. There are still pains, but they're very inconsistent and have slowed in intensity. I don't know what this kid is doing except keeping us guessing! : )

My wife wanted the grandkids to call her something, I don't even remember. But what they ended up calling her was Gaga....I guess for grandmother, and now she wouldn't change it for anything. Nope. You're LaLa forever. When those kids are adults, they will still call you that. LaLa is their word expressing their love and affection for you. It doesn't get any better than that. Any news on the grandson.

I wanted my grandkids to call me Mellie (like from Gone With The Wind - my name is Melanie), but when the first one started talking he picked up only the "L" sound so he started calling me LaLa so now that's what his sister calls me, too. I'm hoping I can get them to call me Mellie when they get older. We'll see. And thanks for the points! : )

Thanks for the points. I just don't believe when it comes time to go in the voting booth, that he will get anywhere close to enogh votes to win. Any president that has harmed this country in so many ways in so many times shouldn't have even a remote chance of re-election.
