Yeah, I'm the same one from Vol Nation, but I can't do anything right over there, even when I do my best to stay neutral. It is a challenge to go on another forum, because the rope is shorter for all visitors, lol. I am not there for smack though.

Kiffin left you guys in a tough situation. I have nothing against Dooley and would love to see him succeed but I have a feeling your administration intends to use him as a fall guy and go out to get a big name coach 3 years from now. We will see if I'm right on that, I hope I'm not because Dooley seems like a good guy unlike your previous coach.

Agreed there is alot to overcome mentally but from what I've been hearing the players are extremely confident and are expecting to set the world on fire this year. We may be in a bit of the same situation on the OL. Cann, Williams, and Patrick will all get their chances to start on the interior OL and all have incredible ceilings (especially Patrick who was probably the best OL in FL last year) so its going to be interesting to see how the OL shapes up for us. But I'm headed to bed we can continue this conversation tomorrow. Definitely a good way to pass the offseason.

On UGA not only are we facing them at home its the first game Murray will play in on the road. I love the idea of Murray getting his road baptism by fire in the Brice because it will be loud. I really hope Spurrier pulls out a few trick plays in that game that they won't be able to gameplan against because that should make some very big holes and bad pursuit angles due to the transition.

On UT I agree with the assessment. I'm sure you know which is why I have to ask because I know its at least close. Is 3 combined starts on your OL a record low for the SEC? That said I'm sure they have some high ceilings when they do come into their own. Getting both you and UGA in bad QB situations, UGA's is bad since its early their first road game because Murray will get his feet under him by the end of the year, so we should be able to capitalize with our very very scary secondary. Also I have a feeling we won't slump this year. This is the deepest and most talented team we've ever fielded with weapons everywhere one offense.

Yeah the West should shape up very interesting. I love the fact we get a bye before Bama because we can pull the upset off at home. They only scored 13 points on us offensively in Bama and I'm assuming we can put up some points on that very young defense, especially that secondary. Also I think its more like 9 or 10 of that defense are in the NFL now or trying to be signed as an undrafted FA. I just don't trust AU's or Arky's defense so I think the challenger to Bama's throne is LSU. I think they have the potential to be very very deadly this year if Jefferson gets consistent.

I'm hoping you're right on USC because that would be a huge recruiting tool. Nothing personal but I feel very confident against you guys this year but you guys handed us our asses after we handed you the ball a few times so we are going to have to earn it. Same with UGA our special teams gave them the game last year. I think we have the ability to handle both of you but at the same time we have to handle business or we could have a huge setback for our program.

Yeah good conversation. Its going to be very interesting to see how the East shakes out this year because every team is vulnerable, UF obviously being the least but still have their weaknesses and Bama which may leave the door open. Only problem was we completely sidetracked the Clowney thread.
