I like Wiz's Black & Yellow!

His stuff goes so far beyond Black and Yellow though. You should listen to the Rolling Papers album if you get a chance.

Yeah buddy! Although I prefer Cabin Fever to Rolling Papers. As for Mac Miller check out K.I.D.S and some select tracks off of Best Day Ever

Jay Z is garbage. And I would say Wiz is an icon. He's bigger then anybody else right now.

Not really, but you're right about "Jigga" being a hollywood punk bitch. Incredible talent, but you can't hide bitch.

Wow possibly the most off base post ever. Jay Z shaped rap and is out of the game. His part in H.A.M is harder than any Wiz song...

Also I mean someone who is more in the game right now Jay Z is a legend. Wiz won't be around in 2 years don't believe me? Go ask Gucci or 3 6 Mafia or Soulja Boy 50 Cent. People sell out too quick now.

3 6 mafia has been going strong for the better part of 15 years. I don't like them at all, but they're no flash in the pan.

They might make songs but making songs and being the fore front of rap music like they had a legit shot of being is different.

But maybe that was a weak example if thats the case so was 50 because he killed everything before Get Rich or Die Tryin.

Same can be said with J Cole and Lupe Fiasco. They've been around a while..Lupe in particular.

I don't know who most of the people you're talking about are, so I find it very hard to believe we will be discussing them in a decade.

Its good to have a bestfriend thats real big into music. He's always finding music months before it hits. I have no idea how he does it. But i think him for it. haha.

These guys haven't come close to hitting their prime yet and they are back by some of the best in the industry with great roles in songs. J Cole is the next big thing back by Jay Z he's way better than Kanye he just hasn't been in the game for long enough for his songs to hit "In the morning" and "Who Dat" did hit but they aren't close to his best work. Lupe well all I can say it's a crime this guy isn't the biggest rapper in the world. He raps about any and everything.

Drugs Money and sex sells records now. Until people get over that fascination you are right these guys will be in the back ground as some of the best who didn't make it because of people who liked to hear music on the radio.

An amazing young rapper who is working his way from Fayettville NC to Hollywood with the funding of Jay Z.

New era of music. Talks about getting OUT of the hood instead of doing all you can to degrade yourself. Give him a listen. If you like old school hip hop I think you'll like him.

Kinda reminds me of Nas before he sucked. Not bad. Still not what the masses want, but what the masses want is bad.
