Bittersweet for me mainly because of the USC ties. I don't think either one of them were performing at an elite level anymore though. Abraham was just not consistent anymore..he would come up with big plays here and there...but did not play/produce at a high level all season long. Dunta just looks for the big hit too much and has almost completely forgotten how to tackle. I'm hoping they have a plan in place to replace these guys....I saw Tommy D at the combine doing work so...

I saw that news earlier this morning, but didn't feel like posting it here because everytime there is a Falcons thread, half of the posts are Panthers fans saying how they hate the Falcons. And this thread played out just the way I assumed it would.

For Falcons fans:
Cutting Abe most likely means the Falcons are now fully committed to switching to a 3-4 defense. I doubt we go after Freeney because he wants to play in a 4-3 defense.

Our cap space is now at $23 mil

Yeah were goin 3-4 couldn't hold on to an older less active abraham. Dunta wasn't cutting it. Brent grinds will be back.

Dunta and John will get jobs elsewhere, no problem.

Falcons must be eyeing Stephen Jackson or Ahmad Bradshaw or someone like that because Jaquizz can't handle a full NFL workload.

Yeah they won't miss Robinson when u have Grimes, Samuel & DeCoud coming back. They need to focus on getting William Moore to resign, that dude is a beast!

We will be fine with Rodgers & Snelling. Rodgers is bigger & stronger than ppl think Plus I gotta hunch that they pick up Latt in the draft.

Adam Schefter is saying the Falcons are in talks with Reggie Bush right now. If the Falcons sign Bush, then I can see Lattimore being a running back they will try to draft.
