Marvel was smart enough to build a common universe prior to the team movie, DC doesn't seem to be doing it.

Plus, everyone knows Supes and Batman, but they aren't going know who Martian Manhunter is.

The entire movie will end up being a weird origins story.

Plus...what, exactly, do you do with Aquaman?

Until they can shit out a decent Superman movie in the post-Christopher Reeve era, then any talk of a Justice League should go on the back burner indefinitely.

I'll admit it, I'm pretty much a "fanboy" when it comes to DC heroes, specifically Superman. I usually thoroughly enjoy all the Marvel movies too, but I desperately want the DC guys to come up with some truly epic movies that aren't part of the recent Batman trilogy (which was awesome!) And while I didn't hate "Superman Returns" with Brandon Routh, it left me wanting quite a bit. That has me wanting M.O.S. to be even better than I had originally hoped. Especially since Green Lantern was just an expensive piece of crap imo. But if M.O.S. ends up being in the same league with the Batman trilogy (see what I did there?) and maybe a good Wonder Woman and possibly Flash movie are made, then I see no reason why we shouldn't expect JL to be incredible. Here's to hoping!

It's going to be tough to do a JL movie without backstories on more than half the characters.

I would love to see it take off though, maybe even get some sweet DC/Marvel crossover movies?

Wolverine vs Batman?

That's probably my inner geek asking too much though.
