We normally get fresh dough from Publix, but I thought the Pillsbury Thin Crust would work better since it'd be rolled up inside ... how the dough inside would cook is what worried me so much with this one.

I only eat the very thin crust. For takeout, I always get thin crust Little Caesars. I do the same thing when doing my own. This looks fantastic and flaky. I might try this next weekend. If pizza is too doughy, I dissect it and throw some of the soft crust on the bottom away. Phyllo crust might work if I use olive oil between the layers instead of butter. Italian spanikipita style.
If my husband cooked, I might die on the spot from shock.

I would suggest a thin crust ... only because I still don't know how easily a thicker crust would "cook"


It tasted like a giant but actually delicious pizza roll haha

It looks great, but for me any time I eat a calzone I just wish it was pizza the whole time. I feel like this would present the same problem.
