"Miracle Child" Keldon Hemingway Special Gamecock Basketball Experience

What a great thing for our team and coaches to do. This should make every Gamecock proud.

I watched the video. What a beautiful child. I cried, and I'm usually a tough old guy. I am praying for Kelden and I hope that his dreams are all fulfilled. It would be fantastic if someday he could be a member of the Gamecock basketball team. God bless him.

All I could think about when coach was talking to him is that if his dreams come true, that young cancer survivor is a few years away from being cussed like a dog.

Lot of truth in what you say. I plan to stop criticizing the basketball players and coaches. I should appreciate them for all of their hard work. I am sad that the last three years have been so disappointing. A young man like Lakeem Jackson, who I really like and admire, deserves better. Lakeem, and some of the other players, have been the victims of some things that were out of their control, such as Archie's injury, Mike Holmes dismissal, Lashay Page's ineligibility, to name a few.

I am praying for all of our players and our coaches. I sincerly hope everything works out for the benefit of every one of them.

We certainly seemed to play inspired basketball that night and maybe this is why.

That was amazing, glad the team did this for this little boy! Hopefully everything continues to pan out and he'll end up in the Garnet and Black in the future!
