**USC vs. Ball State GAME #1 Thread**
 

Well, here we go again, gotta keep your eye to the sky. Rain is in the forecast for this afternoon and and a greater chance tonight.


South Carolina (8-2) is back in action on Tuesday beginning a two-game series with Ball State. First pitch for the opener is 7 p.m. with Wednesday's game scheduled for 4 p.m. Ball State heads to Columbia after a pair of games vs. Morehead State in Spartanburg, S.C. on Monday night. This is the first meeting between the two schools on the baseball diamond. Both games can be heard on the Gamecock Radio Network from IMG College with live video broadcast available on the All Access Channel at GamecocksOnline.com.

Since the game is not televised, I wonder if it's possible to move the game time to an earlier time, say around 2 pm. Right now TWC is predicting rain from 6 pm to midnight.

I'm wondering because of the fans that bought tickets already compared to the fan that buy them at the park.

I know none of them want to get to the park just for the game to be delayed, postponed, rescheduled or cancelled.

I think it's too late to move the time of the game...they may just have to reschedule or just cancel it...

yeah gametime tomorrow is 4pm...if they want a doubleheader then they'll have to start earlier in the day to avoid the conflict with the basketball game which is why they moved the time tomorrow from 7pm to 4pm.

Eh I really doubt they would do a doubleheader. The guys have classes to attend and it's midterm week. They would probably just cancel tonight.

I graduated from both schools. Happy to see Ball State playing against a real powerhouse. Ball State has no chance but maybe they can make something out of the trip and head to the beach or something. 50 degrees is like spring time for those boys.

They'll be heading to the beach either way. I looked up Ball State's schedule to see who they've played so far, and this weekend they have a tournament with Coastal and Haaarvard will be there, too.
