South Carolina’s Jadeveon Clowney Runs 4.5 40-Yard Dash At Gamecocks Winter Workouts

According to ESPN’s Tom Rinaldi, Clowney participated in recent Winter workouts with the South Carolina football team and had an incredible performance. At 6-foot-5, 277-pounds, it is reported that Clowney ran a 4.5 second 40-yard dash.

Simply incredible.

There is little doubt that Clowney will continue to be in the spotlight with the national media while he blossoms as a football player. The potential for Clowney to be great is there and he keeps on impressing all of us. We should all be excited to witness Clowney put his skills on display for another season at the collegiate level before his likely bolt to the NFL.

If legit, that's really fast, however his only 40 time that will mean anything will be at the combine next year.
