Clowney said his mom brought the sitting a year out thing and he agreed that it would be crazy to do that and nobody in SC would like him if he did that. He confirmed that he will be here next year.

Said he{Clowney} likes and is aware of his play being the Best of the Best since it occurred and that he is shocked that it has lasted this long. He said that it gives him even more motivation to go out and beat out that play.

Said if "The Hit" is still the top play around football season that it will motivate him to beat himself for the top play hahaha! Gotta love it. Unless you're an opposing quarterback.

But like Metal said, just driving home the point that he will play next year and he knows media just needs stuff to talk about.

Clowney is not satisfied with his college career yet IMO. He wants to have one more huge year. I get the "you haven't seen nothin yet," vibe from him.

I wouldn't hate him if he decided to sit out, but I think that playing is a better financial option for him. He's a guy that has a chance to get a lot of endorsements as a pro, so his image and likeability matter. The entire 2013 season is going to be a massive free advertisement for him. If he's seen as the man-beast who, yet again, annihilated the competition like a monster among boys in college, rather than the guy who played it safe and sat out, he could see even more endorsement dollars come his way.

Good gracious, I feel bad for his opponents next year. After hearing that, I can actually see opposing players running FROM him.
