Shaq Roland misses first practice of spring

thought I would share that Shaq Roland missed first day of spring practice today due to academic issues which usually correlates as too many missed classes (per TBS)

Wonder how many classes Quinshad Davis has missed?

same thing happened to Clowney last year if I recall correctly. Probably not a big deal.

It did. I think it might have also happened to Alshon. Its just disappointing hearing this after the updates (depending on who you get them from) of him having poor work ethic this winter. Spurrier said "hopefully*high pitch voice* he can be back on Thursday"

You can also tell in Spurrier's interview he is ready to get Shamier Jeffery involved a lot this coming season after saying he lost 10-15lbs and is physically fit and ready to be a guy ready to make plays this season.

Zero unless he was sick or playing football. Quinshad is a very good student.

And apparently a good WR too. Wish he was a Gamecock. We'd be jacked about the season he is about to have.

People are still pissing and moaning about Quinshad Davis?

Good grief.

Hard to miss class when they aren't even offered for athletes at Chapel Hill...

Guess sarcasm doesn't translate well on message boards.

That said, QD is a good WR and we'd be a better team with him.

If Roland gets his head on straight, he will be one of the best WR's to play a down in WB.

There's just something about those big time kids out of Lexington though.

Nobody moaned. He is a good student. I was stating a fact.

What a waste if Roland doesn't get it together. What a shame.

hopefully this isnt a big deal. we should all get behind the young man and wish him well. i still think he's gonna be a big time player for us. its just one practice and none of us really know the details involved here. im sure he'll be out there and ready to go soon

There is no reason that anyone should even be speculating about Roland becoming a bust right now... this seems to happen to a player or two every year and there's usually nothing to it.

It's a little too early to be making that kind of statement.
