He told his team this earlier today. No idea why, or where for (if anywhere).

Let the rampant speculation begin.

dude has zero class. probably was asked to step down due to many parent complaints of how he acts during practice and the players he absolutely ridicules. heard from a lot of people he has said some racist stuff during practice along with cursing like no other. Shaq Roland made Lexington not Earley. Baseball and Football has been accused by many of recruiting a couple players to come play for them

The school is decreasing from 3,200 students to 2,100 with the split to River Bluff High; that will decrease the talent pool. That has to be part of the reason.

His act wears thin on people after about 3 or 4 years. Look at his History. The guy is a job jumper.

That wouldn't make sense. They hired the old Coastal Carolina coach to be the head football coach at the new high school so Early would be an assistant and take a hugh pay cut I would imagine.

all his talent is leaving (new school), shaq roland is gone, sees that he is not going to win so he is bailing... lexington has not had much luck with coaches the last few years... i blame craig tyler glad he is gone... hope melissa rawl makes a good choice

This man was my HS coach and a finer man I never met! I put him and my father on par for making me into the man I am today. No fairer person was ever hired by Lex SD. I don't know the specifics of that schools situation, but Creig Tyler (with an "e") was not to blame...FWIW.

the lexington hs athletic department is corrupt. trust me, ive experienced it first hand. even the students know it.
