Apologies to Nolan Belcher

I thought he was going to be the weak link in the pitching staff... however.. he is #2 in the nation with K/BB ratio by having 23 K's to 1 Walk. thats crazy. GO LITTLE UNIT

I love guys like Nolan Belcher who was one of the young guns a few years ago and has emerged as the top guy.

I watched him a little in HS and always knew he had good stuff. Its good to see him finally successful. I hope he proves to be a strength for us.

I really think our weekend rotation by the time SEC play comes around will be Monty, Belcher, and Wynkoop. Colby just isn't as consistent right now - I guess he's getting his chance to prove himself again.

There's a difference between having an opinion and trashing a college kid.

Example: "I'm not sure he's our best option for the Sunday starter"...OR..."he's horrible...he doesn't even deserve to be playing in the SEC, much less on the weekend"

Just an example, and not one that has come directly from any person, but one is trashing...another is just giving an opinion.

He has certainly pitched well early in the year.
Our pitching depth is looking really good with Monty, Holmes and Belcher starting (I think Holmes will get going again once we hit league play).

But I feel good with our pen and backups in Wynkoop, Westmoreland, Beal, Seddon, Koumas and Webb.
