Comparing the first 14 games for 2013 to 2012.....last year year we were 13-1
scoring 73 runs (5.21/game) and giving up 26 runs (1.86/game). This year we are 12-2 scoring 99 runs (7.07 runs/game) and giving up 39 runs (2.79 runs per/game). So our average margin last year was 3.35.....this year it's 4.28. That's a net of about 1 run a game......in baseball 1 run a game is pretty darn good. Plus, this year, we have a much deeper bench, both position players and pitching. I haven't looked up our team batting average, but scoring about 2 more runs a game this year gives me some real confidence going into our SEC schedule, especially since we lost our 2 best hitters in Marzilli and Walker.....and losing Roth and Price, there was no way we were going to replace them....but our pitching for the most part has been really good.

It'd feel great out here if that brisk wind would go away.
