Prayers Needed
 

One of my friends from high school passed away today. He had been sick for a while, but it still was a shock when I heard. We are having our 10 year reunion this summer and it will be strange not to see him there. He was the QB our senior year, star basketball player, and all around good guy.

It was tough finishing the work day after hearing the news. I will always remember the bus rides to games, the locker room talks, the random things we talked about in the dugout during baseball games, and just the funny things we would get into.

RIP JJ, you will be missed.

Thanks everybody. I found out today that I am going to miss the memorial service on Saturday. I have a mandatory conference for my job this year, I have been working all year to pass Safe-T evaluation to move from a induction teacher certification to a full certification and if I miss Saturday's conference I have to start all over next year. I feel bad that I can't make it. I have been upset since I found out that I can't make it.
