Netflix Question
How does it work with a netflix account running at the same time on two different TVs?
|
Re: Netflix Question
I'm not sure of the exact number, but Netflix streaming can be running on several different devices at the same time.

Re: Netflix Question
How much would it slow down? Would it slow down?

Re: Netflix Question
Depends on your internet I think. I've done it plenty of times without a problem.

Re: Netflix Question
I've never had a problem with it. I've had it running on 4 different devices at 3 different locations before.

But really, as long as you don't want to have your Netflix stream in the best HD at all times, it shouldn't matter. Just my experience.. I'm not well-versed in the subject other than that. |

Did the same thing. Like others have said, it depend on your internet speed. I have Time Warner Cable and almost nightly I'm watching something on Netflix downstairs while the wife watches something on the iPad upstairs. Never any issues. Also, I typically run netflix from my macbook pro through my TV and there is zero delay and just barely sub-par HD quality. Very much worth the $8 bucks a month or whatever it is. |
Re: Netflix Question
Just FYI - Netflix runs on all of the major gaming systems. So if you have an Xbox 360, Wii, or PS3 - you can stream netflix to that TV. Many blu-ray players and now 'smart' tvs have netflix and wifi built in for your streaming convenience also.
My wife can stream on her ipad, I can stream on my phone (only do this with wifi, the data usage is pretty high). If you're cutting down on TV, I would recommend getting a Hulu+ account. You can watch current TV shows, the day after they air. |
Re: Netflix Question
U should be good. I would drop all TV channels totally and get some HD rabbit ears and rock the netflix but football has me by the gonads.

Re: Netflix Question
The limit for me is 2.

Re: Netflix Question
All depends on your Internet connection. We can typically stream two programs at once. Have never tried three.

Re: Netflix Question
Never had a problem with it before, with my kid streaming a show on the Wii, me on a laptop and my wife streaming on an Ipod all at once.

Re: Netflix Question
It works.

Speaking of Netflix, who has seen the movie Street Thief on Netflix?

I have two kids (7 and 1) and they like their shows. The wife likes her shows and I like mine as well. IDK...just trying to get some ideas so that I can possibly save money |
