Official 2013 NFL Offseason Thread

Since I'm a Bills fan Fitzpatrick was cut and we lost arguably the top OG in the NFL when Levitre signed with the Titans. Not a good start. 1st round QB reach here we come!

I say the Cards take Barkley or Geno.

Then the Bills take whoever didn't get picked.

At this point I'm hoping we hold off until the 2nd round where at least there may be some value. Glennon or Barkley in the 2nd round I wouldn't mind. I'm just scared we reach on 1 of them at 8.

Fellow Bills fan here. I'm not sweating the loss of Levitre, considering the price tag to keep him. I think our line should still be fine. I liked the signing of Lawson a lot. Seems ideal for Pettine's system. We need to do a few more things in free agency to shore up weaknesses at LB and secondary, and I'd like to concentrate on offense with the draft. Receiver in first round, QB in second. I want nothing to do with Glennon. I'd prefer Bray all day long to Glennon, if we want a QB in that mold. I'm not sold on Nassib, so I hope that prediction isn't true either. Tyler Wilson might be decent, and I'm open to Barkley, EJ, and Geno if he's available in the first (I think this is more likely than many think).

But, if the coaches think that Bray demonstrates the right seriousness in interviews, that is who I want. Best talent in the draft. Just need to make sure he has the head for it.

Lots of talk about the Buccs talking to jets about Revis. Seems the jets want the Buccs #13 pick this year while the Buccs are offering next years 1st round pick.

The jets would be smart to take next years pick. Besides they might have a new head coach after this season who might want a different QB.

I read it wrong. Sounds like the Buccs are giving up on Revis and are going after Munnerlyn.

Interesting. I wouldn't consider captain to be a number 1 type cb like revis.

He's a corner which is a team need. If he is a #2 corner then its a need.

Ill trust in Dominick. Look who he brought in last year.I dont blame the Buccs for not giving the #13 pick for a corner coming off ACL injury.

that is even better because they can get an o-lineman first pick this year and if they are just awful and the buccs dont get that much better than they will have a chance to get both Clowney and Murray. or they could get jarvis jones this year as well as clowney and proceed to kill every QB in the AFC

I don't see Jones having that long of an NFL career.
Spinal Stenosis is a huge question mark.

Good article(s) on different approaches to offseason aquisitions:

http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/po...ite-approaches

Quote:

"Three winners emerged from the post-frenzy shopping market -- Arizona, Chicago and Tennessee," Clayton writes. "Based on playing time from last year, I'd give the Cardinals the slight edge from the post-March 17 market."
Incidentally, both the Rams and Cardinals picked up two former Gamecocks: Jared Cook (Rams) and Jasper Brinkley (Cards).
