**USC vs. Davidson GAME Thread**
South Carolina will be back in action Wednesday night hosting Davidson. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. at Carolina Stadium. Live video broadcast is available on the All Access Channel at GamecocksOnline.com. The game can also be heard on the Gamecock Radio Network from IMG College including flagship station, 107.5 FM, "The Game.

Holbrook sounded last night during his presser like he feels the team is just loaded with depth and it's been a struggle at times for him to work some of the guys in for some ABs. He played Iskenderian in for Vergason because Chase is struggling against lefties thus far, and Isky goes 1 for 3 and drives in 2. He said he chose Celek to DH over Carson who's been getting some good hits at the last second last night, because Celek can hit and needs to play some: Brison hits a bases-clearing 3-run double.
Coach Holbrook said he's trying to get K-Mart more ABs, Payne more ABs, Sean Sully more ABs, but there's only so many ABs in a given game. What about when Tanner comes back? What about when Ahmad comes back? We got a LOT of depth this season..... |
