Jim Ross on Clowney

There is a version of Jim Ross calling Clowney's hit on You Tube. I can't put it up at work but I thought someone else could. It's pretty cool to hear it from a WWE perspective.

That's the call from the Undertaker tossing Mankind off the Hell in a Cell.

Possibly the greatest match in history.

Perhaps the greatest high spots in history, but there was really very little actual wrestling done. I prefer the Flair v Steamboat trilogy, Hart v Austin at WM13, or any Misawa v Kobashi classic.

Hart vs. Austin at WM13 will go down as one of the best ever, mainly due to the shot of Austin bleeding while in the Sharpshooter, and it being the official face turn for Austin.

I'll go so far as to say Hart vs. Michaels at WM12 was one of the greatest of all time.

'Taker vs. Mankind for the first ever Hell in a Cell, though...that was pretty epic.

That wasn't the first Hell in a Cell. The first was Badd Blood '97, Kane's debut, where 'Taker took on Shawn Michaels. That was actually a better match, in my opinion. Then there was a tag team HIAC on Raw about two weeks before KOTR match with 'Taker and Mankind.

Bret Hart always had great matches. They guy is a legend for a reason. I thought the Montreal Screwjob was a great wrestling match because it was just that...wrestling by two guys who knew how to put on a show without having to stick tacks in their bodies. Of course, I hate the fact that Bret got screwed in that match

I had no idea that wrestling had this many fans that could actually operate a computer and formulate sentences.

To be clear, when I was 10 (in 1983) I watched "rasslin'" every Saturday morning at 10 am. Flair was king then, and I was convinced that he could whoop the whole Russian army with a folding chair. However, 30 years is a long time to think about reality and wrestling TV has gotten more fake every day since then. Let's stick to the core topic, here. I like the call as much as the next guy, but how did a football thread end up in a lame wrestling discussion?

The Nature Boy could have whooped the Russians...chair, or no chair. They're damned lucky he didn't too.
