JBJ tearing up spring training
 

Hitting over .500 and with his elite arm is already considered to be one of the best defensive outfielders for the Red Sox. Went 3 for 4 on Monday versus the Marlins with a homer and double. Thought for sure to make the roster in 2014, but now he's making a case to make the 25 man roster for 2013.

It's because he met Cack during the offseason. Just being in the same enviroment as me boosted him to another level of awesomeness

he needs to prove himself in the minors a bit more. red sox suck and having him up for game one wont make a difference..

let him tear it up and then the sox can bring him up in june.

We all know how good of a player he is. Put him on the 25 man roster and place him in the outfield. If he doesn't live up to expectations...put him in Triple A

He is hitting .536/.629/.714 this spring against a 7.9 OppQual (7 being AA equivalent, 8 being AAA equivalent, 10 being MLB equivalent). So he is teeing off against AAA level pitchers. Minor leagues won't help him any more. The only reason he won't break camp with the big league club is to delay his arbitration clock another year.
