You should be good. I use an av adaptor to hook my iPad up to my big screen when I can't make a game and it looks awesome.

Not sure if there is an app to watch Carolina Baseball on a mobile phone.

Some things to consider though......

you want to have your phone plugged in to the charger while watching/streaming. a 3 hour game will drain your phone..... so if you are mobile you will need to use your vehicle battery through a cigerette lighter or by an inverter and use your regular charger

you want to use wi-fi whenever possible, or ensure you have an unlimited data plan.....

If you don't have wi-fi when tailgating, your results may vary depending upon the strength of signal you have........

I bought a Galaxy S3 the 1st of the year, and I am a nub on this, so perhaps we will learn together.

Do you know what version of Android you are using? Jelly Bean or Ice Cream Sandwich?

Last year I had to use a flash browser app to watch with my iPad, but this year it plays fine through safari on gamecocksonline. Don't android devices work with flash natively? You should be good using the main site. If you use the free stream links, then you need flash.

Re: HDMI Adpater

Flash support for Android ended months back...... and while you may be able to "somewhat" install flash, most websites/browsers require flash to be used as a "plug-in"..... and since there is no support, this looks unlikely.

Bottom line, unless there is a Android app to what whatever it is you want to watch, it looks like it will be difficult to watch Flash content on an android phone.

Impossible? Maybe not.....
Easy? Definitely not!

Since the announcement of Jelly Bean, Adobe has come forward reiterating that Flash Player will eventually not be supported on mobile devices. In fact, they just posted in their blog and made it clear that Flash Player is not supported at all on Google's new OS Android 4.1/Jelly Bean. Of course, older devices, or devices that come pre-loaded with Flash and have been certified by Adobe will still function with Flash. In the past, all you had to do was grab a copy of flash player from the Google Play Store and it would probably work with your uncertified device.

Unfortunately, Adobe confirmed that with the release of Android 4.1, they will not certify any device with that OS. Additionally, Adobe indicated that on August 15th, it will configure Flash Player currently in the Play Store to only update devices that already have Flash installed. If the device does not have it installed, then it will not be authorized to download it from the Google Play Store. Additionally, Adobe shared that any device that is upgraded from Android 4.0 to 4.1 will still have Flash Player, they recommend uninstalling it because it will be buggy. It's possible this is mostly a scare tactic, and it may still be mostly functional. Of course when we get to that point in the road it will probably be possible to find the APK online.

Can android devices download the photon browser from an app store? That is what I had to buy so I watch flash videos. It was four or five bucks. I have Apple devices, or I could be more helpful. Sorry.

The link to Photon for android.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...e.photon&hl=en

Download that sucker. Open it and click on the lightning bolt in the top right corner to enable flash. Open the free stream link and you will be good to go.

Sweet! It will time out every 20 or 30 minutes if you don't touch the screen. I'm sure you've discovered that.
