Employed!
Graduated in December and finally got a job offer with a company that handles hospital billing. It isn't glamorous, but it's a steady paycheck and the company has a great benefits package. I'm very thankful. Just wanted to share this joyous occasion with Cockytalk.

Re: Employed!
Good luck with it. Always remember, you don't have to be smarter than the folks you compete with for advancement. You just have to outwork them.

Re: Employed!
Go to work 30 minutes early and stay 30 minutes after. Employers notice. Most people going into an entry level position usually don't know anything, so it's all about training and learning......pay attention, look interested, even if you already understand, check your work, and don't ever make the same mistake twice.

Re: Employed!
That was quick! Many people are waiting a lot longer for positions.
Remember that getting along with colleagues is almost as important as the job itself. Do those things well and the rest should take care of itself. Good luck! |
