Laptop connection problem

I have an HP desktop hooked to wirless router, so when I try to connect my laptop to Comcast internet I get a message telling me the laptop can't connect because two computers are using the same connection? Help?

This is always a stupid question, but have you restarted either your computer or your router? If not, do both.

Are using the same IP address by chance? Cmd prompt --> ipconfig /all
