Yea they had some real nice words saying they don't care if they're fined or in trouble at work but he he really is rooting for Marcus. Both said he's a great guy with awesome character and does everything right.

Yea me too. Doinkler Greenberg would have probably asked some stupid questions. You could tell Svp was genuinely interested in talking to Latt and enjoyed the interview.

Said they(SVP and Mike Golic), along with everybody else on the planet, were pulling for Marcus.

Asked him about the injury and the subsequent love he got from all over. Marcus said he had some serious doubts the first few days, but the love he got gave him a push. (gave a shout out to his coaches, family, teammates, and fans)

Marcus said Willis Mcgahee reached out to him, told him it was all mental.

Asked him how good Clowney can be. Marcus said he didn't know but it was scary to think about.

Asked him about the new rule for RB's in NFL. Marcus said it would be tough to follow/enforce but players have to find a way to follow the rules.

Marcus talked about his rehab and how he feels like he is in great shape.

They told him they were pulling for him again, gave each other a phone hug and said bye.

He would have spent 30 minutes talking about how he would have reacted if he had injured his own knee the same way and then spent the last 5 minutes talking about his son Stevie's new favorite band. The only time he would have even asked Marcus a question would have been when he asked him how many games the Jets will win next year.

It's always great to hear the love for Lattimore from the national media; he deserves it.
