Give him a little bump and let him explain it to his superior.

He did get a little bump, and failed to pull over after causing the collision. The driver who recorded the video had to call 911 to report an accident lol.

This dude wasn't driving like a pro either. Video taping a good portion of the incident. It looked like he was tailgating both the cop and van pretty good. It might be my phone to where I couldn't see his speed but it also felt like he opened it up more than the 10mph he said he did. All that said the cop obviously shouldn't have done what he did. Something just doesn't feel right about this video there may be more than what's shown here.

Me thinks he needs a new whatever so a wreck might get him one! One rough sounding engine.

Yes, good job at driving dangerously, putting other drivers at risk, all to satisfy his power trippin' ego.

Completely agree. He was tailgaiting both the cop and the van. He didnt use any turn signals and he cut the van off when he passed it. He definitely opened it up more than 10a mph. If he was doing 50 he definitely was up to atleast 75 when passjng and then maybe 60 after getting back in front of cop. The cop definitely sped up after crossing the bridge night have been doing 50 on bridge he was doing more than that off the bridge. Maybe the cop was just trying to slow him down so he didnt blow that engine up. Wth was that. Also i never saw his speedometer.

Officer resigned according to the news.

I agree the civilian driver was definitely a tool bag who probably made the situation, but the cops actions were completely unprofessional and reckless. He definitely doesn't have the stability to handle his authority.

Nah. I'm guessing the officer was doing under the speed limit in the left lane and the jackass in the van was scared to death to go by him. There was probably a line of cars backed up cause everyone saw a cop car and got scared. Reminds me of the Larry the Cable guy bit about the trooper being the interstate pace car.
