Vol's Richardson motivated by Clowney.
Antonio "Tiny" Richardson is the Vol's offensive lineman that Clowney beat to force a fumble last year and seal the victory for the Gamecocks.

Re: Vol's Richardson motivated by Clowney.
What is their left guard #71 doing? He's eyeing Clowney from the start of the snap, then just kind of stands there while the fumbled ball goes past his leg.@ 1:17 it looks like he's even watching the jumbotron lol.
"The question is how many times have I watched that game?" he said. "It has been a lot. I'm not gonna forget about that play. That's one thing that motivates me every day to get better so I can raise hell against Clowney." We will see about that. |
Re: Vol's Richardson motivated by Clowney.
I thought Richardson and Lewan were the best OL Clowney faced all year. Richardson is 1st round worthy IMO

Re: Vol's Richardson motivated by Clowney.
I've watched that play probably a dozen times and I just now noticed how badly Clowney juked that guy. He's got every move you can make. In fact, I predict that next season he'll do a head-first dive between a tackle's legs then pop up and make the sack.

clowney had a severely injured foot that day..he played on one leg..people forget that.

Re: Vol's Richardson motivated by Clowney.
While reading that It's like you can sense the fear of Clowney from him. Who can blame him?

Re: Vol's Richardson motivated by Clowney.
Richardson is a really really good OT.
Will be fun to watch the matchup again this year. The one good thing about the Vols in their matchup with the Cocks that other teams don't have is our fantastic pass blocking Olilne. It somewhat negates your biggest strength. (Obviously doesn't completely shut it down, but doesn't allow it to take over the game either). I think we will have another close game this year. |

Richardson is probably the one guy who isn't terrified of Clowney, he is actually excited about facing him again. |

Only one off of Dooley's staff I was sad to see go (Oh and Graham) Seems like our RB recruiting is doing fine though without Graham! Ya HURD that! |

Well it looks like you guys will be putting up some pretty good #'s on offense with Worley under center, if he wins the starting job. |

I thought Richardson's performance against Clowney was the best of any tackle all season. Clowney made a play that saved that game but was pretty quiet overall in that game.

Re: Vol's Richardson motivated by Clowney.
Looks like holding to me.

Re: Vol's Richardson motivated by Clowney.
Even though Clowney was injured that game I still thought Richardson was the best OL he went against all year.

Re: Vol's Richardson motivated by Clowney.
Should be a good one-on-one matchup again this year

Refs can't call holding with JD out there bc there would be a flag every other play. |
