Re: Jackie Bradley jr on espn2 right now
They've been talking about him for the past 10 minutes straight, this is unbelievable. Yankees just scored 2 runs and they act like nothing happened, just loving Bradley Jr

Re: Jackie Bradley jr on espn2 right now
They have been talking about him for 20 straight minutes. Very cool to watch.

Re: Jackie Bradley jr on espn2 right now
And another single up the middle in the top of the 9th. More talk from the announcers.

Re: Jackie Bradley jr on espn2 right now
another solid 2-4 day for JBJ. certainly making his case for the big leagues
|
Re: Jackie Bradley jr on espn2 right now
That was a descent at bat for him to not be the guy that ends the game.

Re: Jackie Bradley jr on espn2 right now
Jacoby Ellsbury is already packing his stuff. He's a free agent after this year. When was the last time you saw a center fielder that's a leadoff man, who is one if the top 15 center fielders in baseball, going into his free agent year, and is a 30-30 guy have to produce in spring to keep his job?

Re: Jackie Bradley jr on espn2 right now
Looks like JBJ will be starting for the Red Sox come opening day.

Re: Jackie Bradley jr on espn2 right now
I think that's a mistake. You can't bite the bullet and keep him in the minors for a few weeks? He's a Boras client. He won't be resigning with Boston.

Re: Jackie Bradley jr on espn2 right now
As great as he's been, reading the Article, It seems like the Red Sox are taking a gamble starting him. I wish him the best of luck but I believe one year in AAA would do him some good.

Re: Jackie Bradley jr on espn2 right now
Just because Jackie is a client of Boras, it doesn't mean he wouldn't resign with the Bo Sox. Depends on if he likes it there and if the team is winning, is my guess, as well as how well the organization treats him. JBJ is a throwback kind of young man and that is a complement. Money is important, but not likely to be lone factor. He loves baseball, so the best fit, overall. The client makes the call, not the agent.
