Clowney during practice 3/21/13

Just read on twitter where he blocked a field goal by kicking the ball out of the holder's hand.

I read that too.

Man I hope that's true.

...can you do that legally?, but it's still pretty funny.

I'm stepping out on a limb here, but Clowney seems to be a pretty good football player.

So he kicked his teammate to block a FG? Although it would be hilarious ... Not sure that's the smartest thing to do.

I think the Clownie (sp) kid is gonna be pretty good on special teams this year. Who knows, he may see time on the Dline.

I heard the ball went through the uprights on the other side of the field.

If this is true it's legitimately the craziest thing I've ever heard. How would it be physically possible to beat the kicker to the ball without diving?

Re: Clowney during practice 3/21/13

The coaches take film of all the practices right? Couldn't they just let one little clip leak onto Youtube??

Was the Michigan TE supposed to block him?

But still, that is absolutely insane.

This Clowney guy continues to impress. If he keeps this up, he might work his way into the starting lineup come August!

apparently the ball he kick went so high, he was able to run under it and catch it while keeping a foot inbounds in the endzone for a score

Should I have added another version of the *same* joke again? There is nothing else to say about the play, it's so mind blowing I can hardly fathom it.
