In the snow...DRIVING snow at mile high in CO. We have no excuse to lose to Costa Rica in CO in a damn blizzard. Lets go USA!

This is bizarre enough that it might steal a handful of casual viewers away from March Madness.

Obviously a blizzard isn't an ideal condition, but the US always hosts in colder places when we play a Central American team for a home field advantage. Same reason Mexico always hosts us in that nuclear waste facility in Mexico City

I wish I would have started watching earlier, looks like a great game.

Crazy snow, when I flipped over to ESPN, I thought they were showing a hockey game at first glance.

I know we play games in So Cal, Houston, and Philly... The blizzard game was awesome though.

Not exactly correct. There was ONE reason and one reason only we played this game in Colorado - we have a match against Mexico in Mexico City on Tuesday. Believe it or not, Mexico City is at a higher elevation than Denver. So this match was scheduled so we could prepare for the altitude.

Snow was not in the plan nor did we care about the cold weather aspect. This was simply a match to get ready for the altitude against Mexico. The blizzard was a nice bonus and made for a spectacular match! You don't see many soccer matches like that.

Costa Ricans are bunch of lil bit..ches, little kids in northern Europe play street soccer in the snow.

One thing though, expect the Ticos to bring their home game next to a volcano, they are def going to try to take advantage of a 100 degrees weather down in Central America to get back at the USA.

Let's hope the boys can get the result in the altitude of Mexico City this Tuesday.

:woo:

In places such as Bolivia, Ecuador and Mexico City, its really hard to win because of the freaking altitude!

I heard is really bad when you are not used to it.
