Imagine our team with Ramon Galloway and Murphy Holloway? Let's just hope we can get another -lloway on our team next season lol. It's good to see former Gamecocks doing well, but I hope our team next year can make a few upsets like these two seeds did. It's been too long since we've had an NCAA ready squad..

If things had not worked out like they did, Horn would probably still be the coach. I think we will have a better future with Martin.

It seems all the terrific recruits Horn recruited left and his leftovers stayed.

Coach Martin will do a lot better job and we won't see that anymore.

I don't see Leonard on there. Isn't that who Darrin Horn told Galloway would be taking his spot, thereby running him out of town? It's amazing how people (not you Luke) forget that all these players didn't just choose to leave, Horn actually ran some out.

Even though it will take the Martin train a couple more years to get rolling, it is still good tht we have Frank here and not Darrin "bad hair" Horn.

Harris leaving really screwed us up. He would have been a junior this year, and if I remember he grew to a legit 6'10. One of the big problems this year was not having someone who could protect the rim, and Harris would've done that. If Frank could have convinced Harris to stay, and Galloway/Holloway never transferred, and LaShay didn't have academic issues

That team might've been a darkhorse to make the tournament this season.

That team could definitely make the tournament.

The more you think about it, our future is very bright. This team isn't far off from making the tournament.

Horn told Ramon that if he wanted to play in the NBA, Ramon needed to go play at another school.

Murph said Horn was two faced and couldn't play for him.

Another dose of humility for Horn last night. Galloway and Holloway were the players of the game with Ramon's team winning and advancing to the Sweet 16.

Tired of what could have been should have been threads, let Martin stay, do not whine like school kids who never get picked to play ball, stay behind the players and Coach Martin through thick and thin, support them if you can in everyway, do not tell us about how past success would have done it(we have not won an NCAA game since 1973, times have changed since then) and build up the program at every chance instead of tearing it down no matter how long it takes to get it done as I have watched us tear down something built up over 5 years to start over for 30 years, that is insanity!
Coach Martin cares about the kids, the school, the fans, the state, the country, and life in general, he is a good guy, a great teacher, great coach and will get it done in a 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8...years and the passion will be contagious for years to come!
